Beam Profile Estimate – Input
We have developed a program that will estimate the ion dose or beam current density at a given location downstream. The model uses a physical approach but fitted with empirical data for reasonable estimates. Use the calculator below to estimate the ion current density for the conditions you desire.
This web-based beam profile calculator is rather limited and basic. If you would like, we can run simulations using our in-house beam profile calculator for more detailed results.
Select Beam Conditions Below
Use the drop down menus below to select the Grid Size and Type. Next, select the Beam Voltage and Current conditions. The Accelerator Voltage setting will control the beam focusing. Lastly, enter the downstream position by adjusting the Z Position. Select the Calculate the Beam Profile button to produce a beam profile estimate.
