Techne 2e ion beam deposition system

A Year of “Firsts”

Wow! December already? In case you missed it, earlier this year we announced our brand-new large-area 6 x 50cm linear RF ion source. This large linear source was our first big product development project of 2025 and the largest ion source ever designed and produced by our team here at Plasma Process Group.

Our first sale of this ion source came just weeks after our public announcement was released. Many more are now on the horizon for a variety of applications. Call us if you are interested in learning more about this new ion source.

The biggest news was in November 2025 when we received two more orders for our advanced Techne 2e ion beam deposition system. What a momentous year indeed. We are thankful for these new orders from two of our top-tier customers. It is always exciting for us to see return customers. We cannot think of a better way to end 2025. Let us know if you are looking to increase your capacity or simply add IBD as a production resource.

Limited on IBD/IBAD Resources?

A significant challenge facing some coating companies today is the limitation of resources. Many businesses are forced to decline opportunities due to a lack of capacity or specialized equipment, such as ion beam deposition systems. Do not let these opportunities slip away.

If you need ion beam sputtered coating resources, reach out to Ann Fitzgerald at 970-786-6218 or send her an email [email protected]
